😔grievoUS: God is not Mocked😔

I am grieved by many unfolding events and the precursors. But not simply about what has been happening or even why. I am deeply grieved that the Lord warned us, but many people did not heed the warnings. I hope no one is surprised by unfolding events and the precursors. Or arguably worse, I hope no one is claiming they were not warned.

Admittedly, I do not know the Lord’s plans in all of this, but I know He warned us. He warned the same way He warned Cain that sin was crouching at his door, but he must rule over him (Genesis 4:7), and that the Israelites begging Him for a king would cost them dearly (1 Samuel 8). Sadly, the Lord is used to giving warnings and people ignoring Him, to include times when their demise was pending. King Ahab was without excuse when he died in battle after the Lord had the Prophet Micaiah warn him of his pending death (1 Kings 22). Tragically, people can get warned that something will cost them their lives (and salvation) and they will gladly choose it.

Now it gets worse. What grieves me the most is what is to come, which is something the Lord had the Apostle Paul proclaim. One of the most grievous things is when people no longer love the truth and the dire consequences thereof:

🔥And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.🔥 ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 (KJV)

It is serious when people see the truth but reject it and choose to live the lie instead. Most people who read this will have the opportunity to repent (if necessary) and to ensure the Spirit of the Lord is truly leading them. If you have a ministerial title, it does not matter, simply ask the Apostle Judas, about whom the Lord Jesus Christ said:

o 🔥Jesus answered them, ‘Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?’ He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray Him, being one of the twelve.🔥~ John 6:70-71 (KJV)

o “🔥The Son of Man indeed goeth, as it is written of Him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! Good were it for that man if he had never been born.🔥~ Mark 14:21 (KJV)

Being submitted to the Holy Spirit’s leadership is vitally important for several reasons, such as this:

🔥For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.🔥~ Romans 8:14 (KJV)

We cannot get entangled in the things of the world, as Samson discovered in a painful way after entertaining Delilah for too long:

🔥 And she [Delilah] said, ‘The Philistines be upon thee, Samson.’ And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, ‘I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself.’ And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him.🔥 ~ Judges 16:20 (KJV)

Jesus Christ was around sinners but He was never entangled with or by them; He never sinned. With that in mind, do not forget about this requirement as a soldier of Christ Jesus regarding (worldly) entanglements:

⚔️Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.⚔️ ~ 2 Timothy 2:3-4 (KJV)

If you are around worldly things, ensure you are standing on the side of the truth, the Lord’s side, like Joseph and Daniel. Joshua learned that lesson from a Holy One:

🔥And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, ‘Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?’

And he said, ‘Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come.’

And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, ‘What saith my Lord unto his servant?’🔥 ~ Joshua 5:13-14 (KJV)

This message shifted midstream, but I close with this for anyone playing games with the Lord:

🔥 Not every one that saith unto Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? And in Thy name have cast out devils? And in Thy name done many wonderful works?’ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.🔥 ~ Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV)

Sometimes repentance simply means refocusing. Return to your first love and works (Revelation 2:1-5).
