⚖️Absalom⚖️

"Seeking justice, for yourself and/or others, is noble, but ensure it does not lead you into rebellion against God. Also, ensure your desire for justice does not metastasize into a thinly veiled lust for vengeance. It is said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Despite how long He may take, God loves justice, and He will render justice for injustices."

🤔How Matters🤔

"How you achieve a goal matters, the means will not justify the ends. David painfully learned this after he slept with one of his closest men’s wife, got her pregnant, and then had the man killed to cover up his transgressions."

⚖️❤️‍🔥Trying Trials: The Furnace of Affliction❤️‍🔥⚖️

"One of the things that can prolong your trial is if you are marinating in the desire to see any human who persecuted you suffer.😡❤️‍🔥 Vengeance is the Lord’s, and He will avenge. Joseph realized everything was done under God’s auspices, to humble and prepare him for his future assignment (Genesis 50:20, Romans 8:28-30). He was clearly ready because he had no desire for revenge, despite remembering what his brothers had done. Joseph recognized that God had used it for his good, and the benefit of his family."

⚔️The Drill Instructor (Sergeant) ⚔️

Similarly, there are times when ministers who are called to train others remain stuck in a position while others advance to seemingly do bigger and better things. During times of war, sometimes trainers such Drill Instructors/Sergeants, Observer Controller/Trainers, TAC Officers and NCOs would much rather be in combat than back in the rear training others. Likewise, sometimes we as ministers have a strong desire to be out in the public sphere, doing mighty things for the Lord, but He keeps us back for seemingly less spectacular assignments.

😳Leadership Failure: The Broken Vessel😔

Every soldier of the Lord gets broken, but not beyond repair at and in the hands of the Potter. As I read this the second time, the Lord impressed something upon me: “The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!” ~ Lamentations 4:2 (KJV) In kintsugi, the repaired earthen vessel is laced with gold. Likewise, we must remain grounded (earthen, humble), while focusing on the Lord’s glory above. When we are born again, the Lord dwells in us as we become one, like the formerly earthen vessel held together with a very unlikely and a more precious substance, gold (John 6:56, 14:20).
